Budgeting is quite a critical process, you have to keep a track on what you are spending and stop ways that appear to be negative to your finances. With Christmas just around the corner its time to start that Budgeting for December till the bills arrive in January. You could turn to the old way of doing it on pen and paper, making charts of exactly what you have to buy, how much it is and how much you can actually afford to spend for the season.
If you are more into computers then you should know how to do a chart online, there is many different softwares available to assist you and make the process easier. If you want to avoid the large bills after all the Christmas shopping then how about considering paying for most things in cash this year. Just make sure you bring all the receipts so you can check back on how much you have spent, if you do not keep receipts you tend to loose sight on what you have spent and then start to wonder where your money has gone so be organized.
Now it is just a matter of seeing how much you have to spend, if you find yourself going over your budget then just try to change some things this year cut back on some luxuries or the overspending that tends to happen over Christmas and you can start the new year with a clean start and less bills to deal with.
